ระบบการอ่านมิเตอร์ไฟฟ้า B-CONNEXT แบบทั่วไป สามารถต่อได้มิเตอร์สูงสุด 255 ตัวและระยะทางเชื่อมต่อระหว่างเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ถึงตัวมิเตอร์ตัวที่ไกลสุด มีความยาวได้ถึง 1,200 เมตร ดังรูป

The Maximum number of B-CONNEXT Kilo watt-hour meter in communication loop are 255 units with the maximum distance from computer to the furthest Kilo watt-hour meter is 1,200 meters. Per picture below.

ในกรณีที่ต้องการระยะทางเชื่อมต่อระหว่างเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ถึงตัวมิเตอร์ตัวที่อยู่ไกลสุด มีความยาวมากกว่า 1,200 เมตร จำเป็นต้องใส่อุปกรณ์เสริม คือ Data Repeater ( Auto-Link Repeater ) โดยความสามารถของ Auto-Link Repeater 1 ตัว สามารถเพิ่มระยะทางให้ไกลขึ้นได้อีก 1,200 เมตร โดยระบบของ B-CONNEXT ได้ถูกออกแบบมาให้เพิ่มเติมจำนวน Auto-Link Repeater ได้ ไม่จำกัดจำนวน

และในกรณีที่ต้องการเพิ่มจำนวนของมิเตอร์ในระบบ ให้มากกว่า 254 ตัว ก็สามารถทำได้โดยการเพิ่มอุปกรณ์เสริมคือ Data Repeater ( Auto-Link Repeater ) เช่นเดิม โดย Auto-Link Repeater 1 ตัว สามารถเพิ่มจำนวนของมิเตอร์ได้อีก 254 ตัว ซึ่งระบบของ B-CONNEXT ได้ถูกออกแบบมาให้สามารถต่อมิเตอร์ได้สูงสุดถึง 64,770 ตัว ดังรูป

In case of requirement for the distance between computer to the furthest Kilo watt-hour meter more than 1,200 meters, Data Repeater (Auto–Link Repeater) is needed. With one Auto – Link Repeater, the distance will increase 1,200 meters and B-CONNEXT system is designed to have unlimited number of Auto-Link Repeater.

In case of requirement for number of Kilo watt-hour meter to increase more than 254 units, Data Repeater (Auto-Link Repeater) is needed. With one Auto-Link Repeater, the number of watt-hour meters will increase additionally 254 units. Therefore the maximum number of watt-hour meters with Auto-Link Repeater will be 64,777 units, as shown in diagram below.
